How to use Batch rename files
Apply prefixes, suffixes, replacements, and sequential numbers. Preview the new names and download renamed copies as a ZIP.
When to use this tool
Add trip_ and three-digit numbering to IMG_001.jpg to produce trip_IMG_001_001.jpg.
Choose files and settings
Choose files → Set names and numbering → Review and download ZIP. Keep the original files until you have checked the output.
Before you save
The original folder is unchanged. The ZIP contains renamed copies.
Supported features and limits
Contents and extensions are preserved. Renaming an extension does not convert the format. Invalid characters and reserved names are cleaned. Conflicting names receive a number. Folder hierarchies are not copied. Selected files are stored together in the ZIP.
Check the result
Unzip the result and check filenames and file counts. The originals in your folder remain unchanged.
