How to use PDF N-up printing

Arrange multiple PDF pages on each A4 sheet. Set orientation, reading order, and spacing for printing.

When to use this tool

An eight-page presentation at four pages per sheet produces two A4 pages, containing pages 1–4 and 5–8.

Choose files and settings

Choose a PDF → Set pages per sheet and layout → Preview and save PDF. Keep the original files until you have checked the output.

Before you save

Pages are scaled proportionally. This does not arrange pages for booklet binding.

Supported features and limits

Page rotation and the visible crop area are respected. Unused cells on the last sheet are left blank. Text and vectors are preserved where possible. Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Bookmarks, signatures, attachments, forms, and annotations may not be preserved. Open the result and check important documents before using them.

Check the result

Open the saved PDF and verify page order, rotation, margins, and content near the edges before printing or sharing.
