Output settings
Prefix formula characters (=, +, -, @, etc.) with an apostrophe. Check whether your upload system accepts this change. XLSX stores values as text cells.
Example
If Korean text in a CP949 file looks garbled when read as UTF-8, select CP949 for input. Once the preview is correct, save as UTF-8 BOM for Excel.
Supported features and limits
- Auto-detection checks UTF-8 first, then tries CP949. Always verify the preview.
- Characters already stored as ? or require a fresh export from the original system.
- Saving as CP949 stops if a character cannot be represented. Choose UTF-8 to retain it.
- CSV programs may drop leading zeros. XLSX text-cell output preserves them.
